My first stint as an entrepreneur started the summer following fourth grade when my older brother and sister and I decided to sell some of our homegrown produce at the local farmers market.
My job was to come up with an attractive display for all of the produce. I loved arranging the rows of tomatoes and carrots and onions. The lettuce, however, had a special place in my heart. They always fit so snuggly under my bony arms. I felt like those cabbage heads gave my 8.975 years on this planet great purpose. I just can't explain it.
The Lettuce Journal is a tribute of sorts. It measures 6"x5" and contains 30 pages of white and unlined paper.
